I provide individual therapy services and Autism and ADHD assessments for adults of all ages who reside in Arizona.
My aim is to offer a compassionate, nonjudgmental space where you feel supported and respected. I value a flexible and authentic approach. The comfortability and trust you feel in our relationship is one of the most important aspects of therapy and assessment.
I often work with individuals who have experienced complex trauma and need support around anxiety and self-esteem. Many of my clients live at the intersections of complex trauma, neurodivergence and historically excluded identities.
I specialize in working with high-masking neurodivergent individuals who may have been missed as children and misdiagnosed as adults: those whose experiences are nuanced and complex.
I am trained in EMDR, mindfulness and somatic experiencing and draw from these integrative practices in therapy sessions to assist in building a felt sense of wholeness and resilience. I also often use self-compassion, narrative and internal family systems approaches.
My first priority in the assessment process is for you to feel as comfortable and respected as possible. I view my own neurodivergence and the experiences of my neurodivergent clients from a strengths based perspective. I use several different professionally administered questionnaires to support the assessment process. I provide a detailed assessment report to individuals to assist them in understanding their experiences. I also provide assessment clients with resources for Autism and ADHD.
My lived experience as a neurodivergent, queer, mixed race person familiar with illness informs my work. I operate from a clinical framework that is non-pathologizing, queer affirming, neurodivergent affirming and body liberation and collective liberation oriented.
When I am not working, you can probably find me immersed in one of my special interests - writing, baking, creating art, tending to and propagating my houseplants, and endurance running and slow hiking through the deserts of Tucson.
